Her beauty so true

Her beauty so true,
as people always say.
Her features so golden,
without a trace of flaw,
and everyone looks,
and they do stare,
but her feelings do not show,
as she cries inside.
Her beauty is so true,
the people do say
Her hair so black and clean,
but whin you look,
you see not the hurt,
but a girl who's just trying to fit in.
It is not her wonderful figure,
her good looks,
or her long flowing hair,
but her beauty is so true,
as the people say.
But no one notices her for her.
If she smiles,
they assume she is happy,
they assume she is glad,
but what they don't see,
is a girl who's vary vary sad.
But her beauty is so true,
as the people say.

Guess I somehow missed reading this poem when it first appeared and I like that someone took the time to bring it to the top of the page once again..

Lady Diana,
this really speaks of a truth of how so easily we can be given to think one way about a situation..here you speak of outward appearences and yet this writing could be thot to convey any situation at all...there is a need to search beyond what we at first think about any given situation, realizing that real truth may be in a place deeper, of a place we need to take the time to search out a metter in order to come into understanding of what it is that is really being presented. Lovely writing encouraging the reader to not go with first impressions.
